We are pleased to announce that the GreenVOCnet project – Vocational Empowerment for a Green and Socially Just Transition – has gained momentum. The cooperation agreements with the partners in Spain, Greece and Slovakia have been signed and you can find a brief introduction to the project on the FIAP website here.

A project logo also already exists. It is a further development of the logo in the GreenTecLab project and thus offers both a visual and, above all, a content-related recognition value within the framework of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) programme. FIAP and its partners have already successfully implemented several projects on the topic of “Green Transition” in the EUKI programme and have experience in cooperating with various partner countries. The project logo also indicates the international network concept that is being pursued and expanded in the project and which is essential for successful work and a high level of sustainability of the results.

The Spanish partners in the GreenVOCnet project will take on an expert role in the field of heat pump technology. In December of this year, bilateral talks were held with the partners from Greece and Slovakia to clarify how the Spanish support can be implemented in practice. The actual implementation will take place from 2024.

Preparations for the analyses of the status quo in the individual countries/regions have also been completed, so that the survey of experts on the topics of green hydrogen and heat pump technology in vocational training can begin in January.

We wish all partners and readers a Merry Christmas and look forward to a happy new and green year 2024 together and to continuing our successful collaboration.
Vocational training and the world of work are becoming greener.

We will keep you up to date with project activities on the FIAP website. Stay curious.
